I know, from the look of this cake you would think I love the color purple. But, I don't. I just really didn't want to mix more colors that I had too. Last week the pastry bags were a pain in the butt to clean. So, I thought I would use one color and be done with it. All I was doing was practicing anyhow. On this cake I did seashells for the borders and drop flowers with leaves. I really like making the leaves - they were easy and fun. The drop flowers are pretty darn easy too.
Next week I get to practice the rose some more. It's quite a challenge to make it look like a rose and not cabbage. Practice, practice, practice. Geez, we are going ot get fat!
